Paid members are eligible for discounted rates at our biennial National conference.

Instant membership
Membership takes effect immediately upon submission of dues, with no waiting period. Members in good standing are also granted voting eligibility on the Board and in organizational meetings, providing a direct voice in shaping the strategic direction and governance of the FANHS Metro NY Chapter.

Membership fees go directly toward preserving our history through oral history projects, investing in students through scholarship funds, and sustaining our chapter through promotional materials, administrative needs, and event costs like space rental, refreshments, and honoraria for special guests and performances, so we can keep most of our programming free and accessible to the wider community.
